Miraflores invites you to participate in the highly anticipated PAIRINGS Lunches & Brunch & Bubbles events this summer!

For nearly a decade, Miraflores has hosted an array of accomplished guest chefs to prepare creatively-executed four-course menus, exquisitely paired with Miraflores wine chosen by their on-site Sommelier.

A recent addition, “Brunch & Bubbles”, has been added to the culinary program, which is held each first weekend of July, August, & September. This unique event features four courses of culinary brunch delights from Chef Tara Martinez and paired with hand-crafted specialty mimosas to seamlessly pair and enhance each dish.

These lovely summer events are held outdoors under a shaded covered patio, overlooking Miraflores estate vineyards.

Don’t miss this incredible “Latin Style” menu Chef Tara has put together!

Ensalada Tropical
-Cucumber, Jicama, Mango, Strawberry, Pineapple, Chamoy, Lime Juice, & Tajín Paired with a Passionfruit Mimosa

Chili Rellenos
-Tara's Famous Hollandaise
Paired with a Smoked "Bloody Mary" Mimosa

Tostada-Style Huevos Rancheros
-Poached Eggs, Refried Beans, Spanish Sauce, Cotija Cheese, Pico de Gallo,
& Micro Cilantro
Paired with with a Fresh Lime Mimosa

Blue Corn Pancakes
-Pine Nuts, Blueberry Butter, & Blueberry Syrup
Paired with a Blackberry Mimosa

Meet Fernando Abarca, our winemaker!

Fernando grew up in Morelos, Mexico, where he studied at the Zacatep Institute of Technology. But it wasn’t until he started working in the Sierra Foothills that he developed a passion for wine. While working in the vineyards, he learned one of his most important wine-making lessons: that, as his mentor Marco Cappelli says, “good grapes make good wines.”

Day by day he has learned many things in the industry of wine, and one of the most important things is: No matter how much someone learns every day or year after year, we always learn something new with every challenge and obstacle on the way. The most important thing is to overcome those challenges for a better crafting of wines.

He’ll be here this weekend for the Bottle Your Own Event on May 27th and 28th! #MirafloresWinery
