Sunset Owl Release

Miraflores is partnering with Sierra Wildlife Rescue to bring awareness to our community about the importance of all wildlife!
We are offering a rare opportunity to experience an up-close and personal viewing of the release of a gorgeous Barn Owl that has been rehabilitated by Sierra Wildlife Rescue.
Miraflores has 5 owl boxes throughout our vineyard, which are built specifically to attract Barn Owls who play a key role in rodent control throughout the vines.
5:30pm – Enjoy wine & charcuterie on the patio while mingling with Sierra Wildlife Rescue’s ambassadors of Education – a wonderful opportunity to learn more about the importance of our native birds & prey and their role within the environment.
6:45pm – Sunset Owl Release will take place in front of the winery along with a sparkling wine toast! Wine by the glass & bottle are available for purchase from 5:30-7:00 pm
General Admission: $30
Club Members: $25
Ticket includes: Charcuterie and a glass of sparkling wine for Sunset Toast.
$5 from each ticket sale and 10% of wine sales this evening will be donated to Sierra Wildlife Rescue.
