The surprising and refreshing rain that we receive The surprising and refreshing rain that we received last night and this morning was exactly what our grapes needed! 🙌🏼 We’re thrilled that the rain washed off the residual ash lingering on our grapes. We walked the vineyards today, tasting many varietals right off the vines; we were pleased not to notice smokiness. We are allowing our grapes to hang a few weeks longer before we begin to harvest in order to allow the fruit to further develop. We’ll keep you posted when we harvest our first crop of 2021! #MirafloresWinery

Caldor Fire Update from our GM Ashlee Cuneo The f Caldor Fire Update from our GM Ashlee Cuneo The firefighters worked tirelessly to back burn all around the winery, 2 homes on the property, production building, and vineyards. The fire was and still is extremely close. We lost a very small amount of Zinfandel and Syrah and 2 small storage sheds. The firefighters are still on the property today, to ensure the safety of Miraflores. So far we are very lucky and extremely grateful. A big thank you to the courageous men and women who are fighting this massive fire and to all of you who have kept us in your prayers and continue to send your love and support during this difficult time. Dear Miraflores Patrons, We are sorry to announce Dear Miraflores Patrons, We are sorry to announce that Miraflores Winery is currently under mandatory evacuation orders, due to the proximity of the Caldor Fire. We are uncertain of when we will be able to re-open our tasting room, but will continue to keep you informed as more information is found out. Several of our Miraflores staff members are evacuated as well but, thankfully, everyone is currently safe and so far their homes and the winery have not been damaged. We continue to remain hopeful and are grateful for the incredibly brave firefighters and rescue teams. We are also overwhelmed with gratitude as we have been met by a huge outpouring of support from our amazingly strong, tight-knit community. Our thoughts are with our neighbors and also those affected by the other fires throughout California. We hope that you and your loved ones stay safe and we look forward to seeing you.
